Episcopal Community Services (ECS) in San Francisco is hiring a Behavioral Health Counselor for a fully onsite, client-facing role. The position emphasizes in-person service delivery to participants at ECS program locations, with no remote work option.

The role focuses on outreach and eligibility services for Medi-Cal, staff training, and non-billable supports. Candidate must satisfy required trainings and confidentiality/HIPAA rules.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Experience with case management and benefits counseling preferred.
• Commitment to harm reduction and serving homeless populations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide coaching and support to ECS staff to manage client behaviors.
• Outreach to Medi-Cal eligible individuals to inform resources.
• Outreach to Medi-Cal enrollees not engaged in behavioral health services.
• Coordinate referrals to ensure timely access to services.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Attend trainings and weekly supervision and apply learnings.
