Job summary

Rochester Recovery in Rochester, MN seeks a Behavioral Health Operations Supervisor to lead the team behind recovery, ensuring compassionate, compliant client care across detox and residential treatment. You will coach technicians, coordinate admissions, and collaborate with Nursing, Clinical, Dietary, and other departments while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, healthcare, or human services.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead with accountability, professionalism, and compassion.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and recovery-focused care is preferred.
• Knowledge of AA, NA, and/or SMART Recovery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Train staff on policies, documentation, client care, and operational procedures.
• Assist with client admissions, including orientations, searches, drug screens, and paperwork.
• Support staff in monitoring clients throughout detoxification and residential treatment.
• Respond to client crises and provide guidance during de-escalation.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and HIPAA.
• Assist with staff scheduling and maintaining shift coverage.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Clinical, Dietary, and other departments to ensure exceptional client care.
• Respond to emergencies and help maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
