Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager in California to lead program operations and service delivery across the behavioral health department. You will oversee workflow, referrals, productivity tracking, and data reporting to funders and leadership.

The role focuses on efficiency, program expansion, and infrastructure development, with responsibilities for onboarding systems, improved documentation, and billing readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• Registered Associate (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in behavioral health, prevention programming, case management, or healthcare program coordination.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience, including oversight of staff, interns, or volunteers.
• Demonstrated experience with program operations, workflow management, data tracking, and performance monitoring.
• Experience supporting EHR systems, documentation compliance processes, and billing readiness preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health service delivery models, engagement strategies, and retention practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Background clearance, TB clearance, and drug screening as required.
• Valid California Driver’s License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coordination of assigned programs.
• Monitor program productivity, client engagement, retention, and service delivery outcomes; track and report on leading and lagging indicators.
• Compile statistical data and prepare narrative reports for funders, contracts, and agency leadership.
• Support implementation and ongoing optimization of EHR systems, documentation workflows, and billing processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Utilize PDSA cycles to evaluate and improve workflow, engagement, retention, and service outcomes.
• Provide administrative supervision to assigned staff, including case managers and community health workers.
• Monitor caseload distribution, referral triage processes, service timelines, and documentation compliance.
• Facilitate case review meetings and program conferences focused on quality improvement.
