Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers seeks an experienced Director of Operations to lead daily non-clinical operations for our inpatient behavioral health and substance use programs in Lake Worth, FL. You will oversee departments, support admissions and programming, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a minimum of three years in healthcare management, addiction treatment experience, and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years in a management or supervisory role, preferably in a behavioral health or healthcare setting.
• Minimum of three years in addiction treatment and/or mental health care with residential treatment operations understanding.
• Valid driver’s license; minimum age 21 for insurance requirements.
• Certifications related to addiction treatment or behavioral health operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Joint Commission standards, and state regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), data analysis, and operational reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for non-clinical departments to ensure consistent operations and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate daily operational activities to support admissions, discharges, patient movement, and programming with clinical teams.
• Ensure operational workflows support patient safety, engagement, and continuity of care.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate non-clinical staff; manage staffing and performance.
• Conduct environmental, safety, and operations inspections; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Ensure HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Joint Commission, and state regulatory compliance.
• Prepare operational reports and contribute to quality improvement and accreditation readiness.
