Job summary

The Coquille Indian Tribe is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to support the Behavioral Health Executive Director with day-to-day operations, supervision, and clinical oversight. This role blends administrative duties with direct client care to maintain trauma-informed, culturally responsive services.

You will oversee staffing, training, and policy adherence while maintaining a direct client care caseload aligned with licensure and department capacity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible behavioral health experience.
• Current Oregon behavioral health licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) required.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care including screening, assessments, individual counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination as appropriate.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching, training, and performance feedback; onboard new staff.
• Coordinate training on workflows, documentation standards, and crisis response; escalate issues to the Executive Director as needed.
• Balance administrative duties with clinical responsibilities and ensure adherence to policies and confidentiality.
