Job summary

Responsibilities include collaborating with DON/CNO, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong nursing leadership and crisis intervention skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing strongly preferred.
• Current RN license in State of facility.
• 5+ years of experience as a registered nurse preferred.
• Two years of RN experience required.
• Two years in behavioral health RN preferred.
• One year in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment required.
• Prior experience as a nursing manager preferred.
• One year of progressive leadership or management experience required.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the DON to improve quality of patient care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to incorporate nursing processes into care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality customer service.
• Oversee nursing team in DON’s absence.
• Assist with budget management and daily operations of nursing services.
• Evaluate staffing needs and ensure patient care requirements are met.
• Lead staff development and training programs.
