Responsibilities

• Uphold nursing standards as required by Colorado and accrediting bodies.
• Direct staff and nursing department operations; plan and manage nursing activities.
• Participate in recruitment, retention, and quality improvement programs.
• Represent the Nursing Department internally and with community organizations.
• Collaborate with medical staff and administration to identify and implement improvements in patient care.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies compliant with state and federal laws.
• Oversee infection control programs to prevent disease transmission.
