Job summary

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program or CNA licensure in Oklahoma.
• To remain Nurse Tech, must pass each semester including clinical/theory classes.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment assessment.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
