Job summary

Columbia Community Mental Health in Saint Helens, Oregon is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse Supervisor to lead the Medical Department. The role involves supervision of medical assistants, managing the medication room, and partnering with the Medical Director to improve care delivery and organizational reliability.

The ideal candidate holds an Oregon LPN license or RN license, with 6 months to 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of nursing experience.
• Behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use experience strongly preferred.
• Prior charge, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medication room and supervise medical assistants.
• Partner with the Medical Director and coordinate across programs and partners.
• Improve systems and processes; serve as the EHR superuser.
• Make decisions, identify problems early, and ensure follow-through with the team.
