• Provide on-site leadership for the behavioral inpatient units during the evening shift.
• Ensure safe staffing levels and appropriate patient assignments based on acuity.
• Serve as the primary on site escalation point for clinical and operational issues.
• Support nursing staff with clinical decision-making and crisis intervention.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies, including behavioral crises and codes.
• Communicate with leadership regarding incidents and operational concerns.
• Assist with audits, rounding, and documentation oversight.
• Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and ability to function under stress.
• Contribute to training and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Assist in payroll and nurse scheduling.
