Job summary

Insight Hospital and Medical Center- Chicago is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead the assigned unit, coordinate staffing, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

You will supervise nurses and support staff, manage budgeting, and promote compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a compassionate, collaborative team environment.

The role requires IL RN license, a nursing diploma, and at least 3 years of clinical experience with 1 year in leadership.

Qualifications

• RN license in IL required
• Diploma in Nursing required
• 3 years clinical experience required
• 1 year leadership/management experience required
• Minimum 2 years prior management experience

Responsibilities

• Manage activities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned unit(s)
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance for self and unit
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff
• Identify and resolve issues affecting delivery of patient care
• Develop and implement policies to guarantee efficient delivery of health services
• Monitor and adhere to budget
• Approve or monitor expenditures to ensure budget compliance
• 24/7 accountability with rotating weekend coverage
• Day shift focus with touch-base across shifts
• Holidays off unless patient/staff safety requires otherwise
