ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behaviorial Solutions is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse IDD for a part-time role (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, 24 hours/week, no weekends) in Ohio. The position offers RN responsibilities within a supportive team of clinicians serving diverse populations with developmental disabilities and trauma.

RN compensation ranges from $30.77–$34.13 per hour with benefits and training. Requires RN license, psychiatric health experience, and willingness to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area.
• Preferred experience with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Address behavioral and physical health needs for psychiatric patients.
• Screen health screenings and monitor vital signs.
• Administer injections and medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication regimes.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client history with Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate case management and community services.
• Assist clients in building emotion, stress and interpersonal skills.

Behavioral Health Nurse IDD

Part Time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

24 hours per week

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN $30.77-$34.13 per hour

Our clients are supported by a team of mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers and psychiatrists to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve.

Responsibilities may include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
