ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse to join our Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm team. This full-time role supports children, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities in psychiatric settings, with no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include health screenings, vital signs, administering medications, patient education, and collaboration with nurses, practitioners, and case managers to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
