ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a Behavioral Health RN IDD for a part-time role in the Steubenville, St. Clairsville, and Barnesville area. The position offers 24 hours over 3 days with Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.

RN wage ranges from $30.77 to $34.13 per hour, with no weekend work. Responsibilities include health screenings, vital signs, injections, medication monitoring, and patient education, under supervision of a Nurse Practitioner.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
