Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse IDD for a part-time 24-hour week position.

The role supports behavioral and physical health needs, conducts screenings, administers medications, and coordinates case management while traveling in the assigned service area. RN licensure required; LPN rate also listed; offers comprehensive training, benefits, PTO, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required.
• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral health preferred.

Behavioral Health Nurse IDD

Part Time

24 hours a week/3 days a week

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN $30.77-$34.13 per hour

Responsibilities May Include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
