Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Steubenville, OH seeks an experienced Behavioral Health RN with an IDD focus for a part-time role. The position is 24 hours across 3 days per week, typically 9am–5pm, with responsibilities including assessing patients, administering injections and medications, and coordinating community services.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited RN license, have psychiatric/behavioral health experience, and be willing to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Behavioral Health RN IDD

Part Time

24 hours/3 days a week

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN $30.77-$34.13 per hour

Responsibilities may include:
