Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Columbus, OH, seeks a Behavioral Health Nurse (IDD) for a part-time evening schedule from 4pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday. No weekends. Compensation includes LPN/RN pay range, with RN higher.

The role supports clients with psychiatric symptoms and collaborates with a team of clinicians. Responsibilities include health screenings, medication administration, patient education, and coordination of community services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate community services and case management duties.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Behavioral Health Nurse IDD

Part Time Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN $30.77-$34.13 per hour

Responsibilities may include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
