Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Warrensville Heights, OH seeks a licensed RN to provide comprehensive behavioral health care across client populations. You will perform screenings, monitor medications, administer injections, and educate clients on pharmacotherapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Travel within the assigned service area is required; prior experience with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel within assigned service area.
• Preferably experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving psychiatric treatment.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medications.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate community services through case management.
• Assist clients in building skills such as emotion, stress and anger management, and interpersonal relationships.

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
