Job summary

Harbor Oaks Hospital in New Baltimore, MI seeks a RN Educator to lead clinical education for behavioral health staff. This full-time role develops education plans, identifies learning needs, and guides new hire orientation from a nursing perspective.

The educator aligns programs with Joint Commission/CARF/CMS standards, promotes patient safety, and fosters continuous professional development. Inpatient psychiatry experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field required or preferred.
• RN with inpatient psychiatry experience and behavioral health RN background.
• Experience in clinical education and staff development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing education plans and onboarding.
• Lead new hire orientation from a clinical perspective.
• Design and deliver evidence-based curricula to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director to review outcomes data and refine competency.
• Provide instructional leadership and support to nursing staff.
