Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a Medication Technician to ensure clients receive the right medications on schedule while supporting the care team. You will coordinate with prescribers and pharmacy, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a safe, client-centered environment that promotes recovery.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, benefits, and a compensation program with tenure-based increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valley Academy graduation required (Post-hire).
• One year of medical experience working with medications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and distribute monitored medications
• Serve as first point of contact for medication questions
• Coordinate with prescribers and pharmacy to ensure correct meds
• Document non-billable clinical events in EMR
• Provide mentorship to other team members
• Assist with coverage during clinic absences
