Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a Medication Technician to organize medications and coordinate with patients, pharmacy staff, and the treatment team. The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, documentation, and collaboration to support patient care in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities include serving as the first contact for medication questions, ensuring correct delivery, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from ValleyAcademy.
• CPR certification (Post-hire) and Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire).

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for the medication distribution system.
• Coordinates with the treatment team to ensure correct medications are delivered on schedule.
• Ensures required paperwork and medical records are completed and submitted.
• Communicates with organizations supporting patient care.
• Documents non‑billable clinical events in the EMR.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to other team members.
• Demonstrates flexibility when assigned to other clinics.
