Job summary

Qualifications

• Location: local to Kansas City metro area in MO/KS.
• Certification candidates: CPC, CIC, or CPMA.
• Experience: 2+ years in hospital or healthcare coding.

Responsibilities

• Translate medical/psychiatric data into CPT, ICD-10-CM and HCPCS Level II codes.
• Collaborate with clinicians to improve coding practices and compliance.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle Management to resolve disputes and accelerate payments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support multi-department teams.
• Use EHR and HRIS tools to track data and report coding trends.
