Qualifications

• At least two years of psychiatric ICD-10-CM and CPT coding experience.
• Certification issued by AHIMA, including CCA within one year.
• Certification issued by AAPC, including apprentice within one year.

Responsibilities

• Code hospital and professional inpatient visits using ICD-10-CM and CPT methodologies.
• Work under supervision, reporting to the Director of HIM.
• Maintain knowledge of coding rules and compliance policies.
