Job summary

Family Care Center in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations under physician or nurse practitioner supervision. You will room patients, take vitals, enter data into the practice software and assist with examinations.

Qualifications

• Formal Medical Assistant training required.
• EMR experience preferred.
• RMA or CMA certification preferred will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Room patients in exam rooms and document chief complaints and med history.
• Measure and record vital signs and input data into the chart.
• Communicate with patients under supervision of physician or NP.
• Assist with injections and prescribed medications as needed.
• Ensure required reports and labs are uploaded to the chart prior to appointments.
• Coordinate patient care across staff, pharmacy and physician.
