The coordinator reviews vitals, labs, and reports to determine medical necessity for admission, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and supporting hospital events and community relations.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN required.
• Related experience can substitute for degree for a candidate currently enrolled in an acceptable Bachelor’s Degree program.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) completed prior to orientation completion and annually thereafter.
• CPI required within 30 days of hire/transfer
• One year clinical experience in a position primarily responsible for assessment, crisis intervention and disposition of mental health patients in crisis.
• Experience working in a hospital setting or emergency room and acting as a liaison between physicians a plus.
