Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Ensure personal care and comfort of psychiatric patients in a safe, clean environment.
• Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.
• Document vital signs, assist with ADLs and transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient behavior and communicate with RNs/physicians about changes.
• Assist with admissions, unit orientation, and de-escalation as required.
• Support care conferences and unit activities; maintain professional appearance.
• Observe safety protocols and assist with one-to-one observation when needed.
