Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Direct Care professional for the Tarrant County Law Enforcement Liaison Project. The role supports diverting individuals with mental health needs from criminal justice to treatment, conducting assessments and guiding access to services.

The position requires a Master’s degree in social services, criminal justice, marriage and family therapy, or psychology, along with at least 2 years of related experience and valid Texas licensure/ CJIS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services, Criminal Justice, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and CJIS certification; LP-C Intern/Associate licenses may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as a Clinical Therapist, Social Worker or Case Worker.
• Assist inNeeds assessments, eligibility screenings, and access to behavioral health services.
