The role provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, focusing on the personal care and comfort of psychiatric patients and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, CPI training within 30 days of hire, and strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with nursing

Formación

• High school/GED preferred.
• CPI training required within 30 days of hire date.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of nursing, administration and physicians.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment for psychiatric patients.
• Participates in CQI activities and performance improvement.
• Assists with admissions, restraints and patient monitoring as needed.
• Orients patients and families to hospital processes.
