Job summary

Del Amo Behavioral Health Systems, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Intake Coordinator in Torrance, CA. Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Credentials: Completion of program or minimum of two years' experience as EMT/CNA/Medical Assistant/Healthcare Intake preferable.
• Experience: Clinical department experience in psychiatric hospital and with patients of all ages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all requests for assistance by telephone or in person.
• Provide admissions screening and crisis intervention.
• Refer to Hospital staff and outside services as appropriate.
• Coordinate admissions through Business Office, Utilization Review and Nursing Services.
