Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Requires 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefers at least 6 months in psychiatric nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assess walk-in and phone callers to determine needs and ensure referral to the appropriate service or resource.
• Provide nursing care to psychiatric and chemically dependent adult, geriatric and adolescent patients.
• Perform hospital assessment and referral processes including communication with referral sources, disposition, transfers/discharges, and connections to community resources.
