Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in software applications.
• Ability to read and comprehend moderate to complex instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients and their families, facility leadership, employees, clients, vendors, etc.
• Ability to write detailed correspondence.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to Prioritize Multiple Tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responds to intake calls and completes admission paperwork.
• Facilitates groups, family and individual sessions and completing all necessary documentation.
• Schedules Unit assessments, meetings and appointments as appropriate.
• Utilizes assessment tools under supervision of RN, LPC or LMSW.
• Communicates with referral sources including family members, legal system, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other treatment facilities.
• Reviews newly admitted patient accounts for eligibility and authorization daily.
• Maintains schedule for filing court paperwork and hearings; works with court personnel.
• Participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Addresses issues in a timely manner including crisis and higher level of care referrals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
