Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a Southeast Ohio-based nonprofit seeking a Client Insurance Specialist to verify insurance coverage, manage authorizations, and support billing workflows. The role partners with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate payer details and timely access to care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in behavioral health insurance verification, authorizations, billing support, utilization review, or healthcare coverage navigation.
• Experience working in a community mental health or healthcare environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Verify client insurance coverage and authorizations; communicate with staff.
• Develop workflows, reference materials, and process improvements for insurance navigation.
• Track renewals and payer updates affecting services.
• Document insurance data in EHR to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to resolve insurance issues.
