Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking a Client Insurance Specialist in Southeastern, OH to educate staff on insurance coverage, verify eligibility, and manage authorizations. You will improve workflows and serve as escalation for payer-related issues.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in behavioral health insurance navigation, strong communication, and organizational skills, with knowledge of Ohio Medicaid and payer processes. Travel within designated areas is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 2-3 years in behavioral health insurance verification or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance coverage education, payer requirements, eligibility verification, and authorization processes.
• Develop workflows and reference materials to improve insurance communication and navigation.
• Serve as escalation point for complex client insurance questions and payer barriers.
• Monitor renewals, changes in eligibility, and payer updates affecting care.
• Document and track insurance data in electronic health records to support continuity of care.
