Positive Impact Health Centers needs an experienced Behavioral Health Clinical Office Associate who can take over the administrative duties involving serving patients by greeting and assisting them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts; and keeping work areas clean and organized, as well as ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in medical or behavioral health front office with billing exposure.
• Experience with indigent and culturally diverse populations preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple phone lines professionally and route calls.
• Check in patients and complete registration.
• Manage patient flow and check-in procedures.
• Update forms including consent, HIPAA, financial, demographics.
• Perform medical coding and billing tasks for non-insurance claims.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
