Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Lead Front Office Associate to be the first contact for patients and support daily operations onsite. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a stable schedule and a chance to contribute to a large behavioral health organization with over 2,000 team members.

You will lead a small front office team, coach staff, handle appointments, billing basics, and ensure HIPAA compliance while maintaining a welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to lead a small Front Office team successfully.
• Physical requirements include occasionally lifting and moving office supplies which can include reams of paper that weigh up to 50lbs.
• HIPAA confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing observation and support to Front Office Associates and Registration staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Dedicate approximately 30% of weekly in-office time to coaching staff and adjusting workflows.
• Escalate staff concerns to the Office Manager in a timely manner.
• Support onboarding and training for new staff in partnership with Training Coordinators.
• Assist with front office operations to maintain workflow continuity.
• Open or close the clinic as required to ensure coverage.
• Maintain a foundational understanding of billing processes and insurance coverage.
• Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by leadership.
