RHD in Delaware is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for behavioral health residential services. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, support independence, monitor health and safety, and document care following HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Delaware Driver’s License required.
• Minimum three (3) years of acceptable driving history required.
• Ability to meet organizational driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (hygiene, grooming, meals, laundry, housekeeping).
• Support development of independent living skills and personal responsibility.
• Assist with medication routines per policy.
• Encourage participation in community, recreation, education, and social activities.
• Provide guidance and positive role modeling to build confidence and life skills.
• Monitor for crisis signs and respond using approved interventions.
• Maintain a safe, clean residential environment and document changes per HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors, nurses, clinicians, family, and team members.
