Job summary

APEX RECOVERY is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician in San Diego, CA to support clients in substance use disorder treatment programs. The BHT will be responsible for monitoring client behavior, documenting attendance, assisting with intake processes, and ensuring a safe environment. Qualifications include at least a High School Diploma and experience in a human services setting. Preferred candidates have degrees in Psychology or Sociology. Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a human services setting.
• Current CPR Certification and First Aid Certification.
• Clean DMV record and a valid California Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client attendance and maintain their safety.
• Assist with new client intakes and orientations.
• Conduct observed UA drug screens according to policies.
• Document client behavior and communicate with staff.
