Job summary

Sanctuary Recovery Centers in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support residents in a structured treatment setting. You will provide direct care, assist with daily activities, monitor behavior, and help with therapeutic activities under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid BHT certification.
• Have a minimum of 4 consecutive years of experience working as a Behavioral Health Technician in the recovery field
• FPCC (Fingerprint Clearance Card)
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Current TB test within the last year
• Peer Support certification (suggested, not required)
• CPI certification (suggested, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to clients in a residential or outpatient setting
• Assist clients with daily activities and ensure a safe and supportive environment
• Monitor client behavior and document observations accurately
• Support therapeutic activities and group sessions as directed by clinical staff
• Respond to crisis situations and follow established protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support individualized treatment plans
