Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Athens, GA is seeking a Peer Specialist to provide paraprofessional support to participants in Behavioral Health Crisis Services. You will conduct one-on-one recovery coaching, assist with treatment planning, and facilitate group skills training, while documenting all client interactions in the EHR.

Under supervision, you will promote recovery, connect clients to community resources, maintain confidentiality, and participate in team meetings and trainings to support clients'

Qualifications

• Must have a diagnosis of mental illness, addiction, or a dual diagnosis.
• GED or High School diploma; at least 18 years old.
• Experience in leadership, advocacy, or governance within CPS/CARES guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual recovery coaching sessions using Motivational Interviewing.
• Support and promote multiple pathways to recovery.
• Assist with development and updates of treatment plans with client and team.
• Document client interactions in the EHR by end of shift.
• Attend treatment team meetings and adhere to confidentiality policy.
• Provide group skills training and education sessions.
• Maintain credentials and attend required trainings.
