Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments including triage and behavioral health evaluation.
• Plan treatment as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Educate patients and families on psychiatric diagnosis, treatments, and health literacy.
• Use verbal interventions to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations.
• Adhere to seclusion/restraint standards and document debriefings as required.
