Prism Health North Texas, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor to join our PHNTX clinics.

The role provides onsite or remote behavioral health care as an integrated part of HIV medical care, conducting assessments and coordinating care with the medical team. The BHC will collaborate with internal and external psychiatric and substance misuse treatment providers, make diagnoses based on assessment, provide evidence-based treatment, and refer to outside specialty behavioral health care

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite or remote behavioral health care as part of HIV medical care.
• Assess mental health and substance misuse disorders and diagnose.
• Refer to outside specialty behavioral health care when needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external psychiatric and substance misuse treatment providers and the PHNTX medical team.
