Hyacinth AIDS Foundation in New Jersey seeks a Mental Health Clinician to screen, assess and provide behavioral health counseling at Harm Reduction sites under HRM/CSM and the Director of Behavioral Health.

The role emphasizes client services, maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA, collaborating with staff, referring to therapy, and documenting activities to support a full continuum of services.

Formación

• Required licenses: LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC or PhD.
• Preferred: dual license with LCADC.
• 2–4 years related experience; HIV and substance use field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Screen, assess and provide behavioral health counseling at Harm Reduction sites.
• Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with Harm Reduction staff for referrals and follow-up.
• Provide psycho-social counseling, motivational interviewing and therapy referrals.
