Job summary

Brightview Health is seeking a Counselor to join our treatment team, focusing on addiction therapy and recovery pathways. You will engage in group therapy, patient intake assessments, and crisis de-escalation within a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Bachelor’s degree required; state-level licensure/licensure-eligible per regulation.
• Active LCAS or LCAS-A license or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team; attend meetings.
• Document all treatment data in the electronic health record and ensure regulatory compliance.
