Job summary

BrightView LLC is seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our treatment team in Asheboro, NC, delivering addiction therapy and supporting patients on their recovery journey.

The role requires active LCAS licensure, a Master’s degree in counseling or a related field, and at least two years of relevant experience. On-site collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures comprehensive care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Active LCAS-A or LCAS licensure required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of state-level regulatory requirements for addiction counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.

  • Assist with treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
  • Coordinate patient care with onsite multidisciplinary team.
  • Document treatment data in the electronic health record and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities
  • CLINICAL CARE:
  • Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
  • Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
  • TREATMENT PLANNING AND PROGRESS MONITORING:
  • Assist with treatment planning.
  • Review progress towards treatment plan goals.
  • COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION:
  • Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
  • Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE:
  • Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
  • Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • EXPERIENCE
    • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a relevant field
  • EDUCATION:
    • Required: Consistent with state-level regulation and requirements, at minimum Masters Degree

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • REQUIRED: Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum LCAS-A or LCAS
