Job summary

BrightView is seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our treatment team, focusing on recovery-oriented care for our patients. In this role, you will contribute to planning group therapy, conducting intake assessments, and supporting crisis intervention within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will document treatment progress in the EHR, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Active entry-level clinical certification or licensure consistent with state requirements (e.g., CSAC-S).
• Bachelor's degree preferred or required as per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Document all treatment data in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulations.
