Job summary

The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Counselor is responsible for ensuring that each participant receives the services necessary to achieve the goals of treatment as outlined in their individualized plan.

Counselors familiarize themselves with each new participant to provide appropriate counseling services based on best practices and may deliver educational presentations to participants and their families as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE‑accredited program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of full‑time behavioral health experience.
• Must be licensed at the independent or associate level with the AZBBHE (Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, MFT or Addiction Counselor for Residential Programs).
• Must be in good standing with the AZBBHE and meet licensure supervision requirements.
• Holds AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.
• Valid identification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services based on best practices and individualized treatment plans.
• Familiarize with each new participant to tailor counseling and educational presentations as needed.
• Collaborate with treatment team to achieve participant treatment goals.
