Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is a premier behavioral health provider in Arizona offering a full continuum of care.

The Counselor plays a key role in ensuring participants receive services per their individualized treatment plans and may present educational content to participants and families as needed. The position requires a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field, and AZBBHE licensure with clearances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE-accredited program required.
• Minimum of one year of full-time behavioral health experience is required.
• Must be licensed at the independent or associate level with the AZBBHE as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Addiction Counselor (Addiction Counselor applicable to Residential Programs only).
• Must be in good standing with the AZBBHE and meet requirements to provide clinical supervision toward licensure.
• Holds AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.

Responsibilities

• The Counselor is responsible for ensuring participants receive services necessary to achieve treatment goals per their individualized plan.
• Counselors familiarize themselves with each new participant to provide counseling services based on best practices and provide educational presentations to participants and/or their families as needed.
