Job summary

CBH Care in New Jersey is seeking candidates for roles within its behavioral health team. You will supervise and support consumers daily, provide counseling, and assist with daily living activities in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role includes monitoring self-administered medications, delivering medication education, and leading social and therapeutic activities. A crisis intervention capability is required to support individuals when needed.

Qualifications

• BSW or BA/BS in related fields with relevant experience.
• Licensure not required but valid driver’s license is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides consumers with daily supervision, supportive counseling and assistance with activities of daily living skills.
• Observes consumers self-administer their prescribed medication and provides daily medication education.
• Facilitates social, recreational and therapeutic activities with consumers.
• Utilizes crisis intervention skills as required.
