BJC HealthCare is seeking a Community Support role within its Behavioral Health program to help adults and children with serious mental illness access community resources and recover in the community. You will work with care teams to coordinate services that support ongoing well-being and independence.

The position emphasizes documentation, client engagement after missed appointments, crisis support, and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field is required.
• No prior experience is required for this role.
• Licenses: Class D (IL) or Class E (MO) may be needed depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provides community support services to clients with serious mental illness to promote recovery.
• Completes timely documentation describing services, interventions, and client response.
• Contacts individuals after missed appointments to re-engage and support recovery.
• Provides mentorship and job shadowing to community support colleagues.
