Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as Nursing Assistant per state requirements is required.
• Previous experience in behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and maintain a safe, supportive and structured environment.
• Take patient vital signs and document accurately in medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility of patients.
• Follow policies and procedures; report changes to supervising staff.
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage distressed patients; assist with CPR if needed.
• Coordinate transfers or transportation as required.
